Descripción

Dealing with digitalisation is a cyclical and continuous improvement process that involves adapting to the new environment by making various changes. As a result, small and medium-sized enterprises must constantly adapt to specific circumstances such as the increase in online purchasing and sales, or the digitisation and management of processes.

SMEs and the self-employed play an important role in the Spanish economy. In fact, companies with less than 50 workers (micro-SMEs and self-employed) account for 49.14% of employment in the country according to figures from the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism. This is why support for entrepreneurship and the development of small and medium-sized enterprises is key to boosting the digital economy in Spain.

In this context, and in order to generate a greater impact on the digitalisation of SMEs, Red.es has launched a road show in the Autonomous Communities to publicise the Digital Kit programme, a financial aid programme of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, financed by the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.

Digital Kit Tour of the Autonomous Communities

This tour consists of a series of presentations that will last several months and will provide detailed information on how to access the aid, the advantages of digital transformation in companies and the facilitating role played by the digitalising agents and other collaborating entities in the process of processing and granting the aid. All of this, with the aim of bringing the Digital Kit programme closer to small companies, micro-enterprises and the self-employed in all regions of Spain.

The celebration of these conferences will be supported by collaborators from the local ecosystem such as regional and local administrations, business organisations and the network of Acelera pyme Offices, with the aim of generating a greater impact.

Digital Kit Programme

The Digital Kit programme is a Spanish government initiative that aims to promote the digital transformation of SMEs and the self-employed by subsidising the implementation of digital solutions available on the market.

This programme has a budget of 3,067 million euros, financed by the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan through NextGenerationEU funds, within the framework of the Digital Spain 2025 agenda and the SME Digitalisation Plan 2021-2025, and seeks to digitalise around one million SMEs and the self-employed throughout the country. All this with the aim of contributing to the modernisation of the Spanish productive fabric over the next three years.
